Want to start incorporating more veggies into your cooking (or just cook more in general), but aren’t sure where to start? Look no further than our Simple + Seasonal Series where students will learn approachable techniques to tackle the season’s best offerings. Meat doesn’t always need to be the star; it can play more of a supporting role. You’ll learn methods to simply and subtly highlight seasonal produce, increase confidence in your knife skills, meet new friends, and hopefully gain more of an appreciation for vegetables! Some produce you should expect to use are tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, stone fruits, berries, melons, summer squash, green beans, and corn.
