NOT the packaged stuff — whew!
In this class, I will walk you how to make one traditional ramen broth — tonkotsu, a rich and creamy pork based broth. Students will also learn how to make the alkaline noodles associated with the Japanese soup. Roasted pork belly will be the main protein and we must not forget the many accoutrements such as bamboo, soft boiled egg, nori, and several others. You’ll be able to assemble your own bowl at the end of class to enjoy around the communal table!
This class is demonstration based — not hands-on.
Wine is not provided. You are welcome to BYOB.
While students will not have a hand in prep, we do all share the presented dishes together at the end of the demonstration - a full meal is included in the price.
